Hi, I’m Margi.
I spent almost four decades in a narcissistic relationship. For years, I knew something wasn’t right, but I learned to question myself, adapt, try harder and put someone else’s needs ahead of my own.
When I finally left, I thought freedom would follow. But I discovered that some of the ways I had learned to survive came with me. I still overthought decisions, worried about disappointing people and struggled at times to know what I wanted.
That experience shaped the work I do today as a counsellor, life coach and survivor educator.
I created Shifted Sisters because I wanted a place where women could move beyond understanding the narcissist and begin understanding themselves again.
A place to rebuild self-trust, create genuine connection, make confident choices and start imagining what comes next.
Because leaving gave us freedom from the relationship.
Now we get to learn how to use that freedom.
